Class Policies
As a staunch supporter of the principles embodied in our Second Amendment, I do allow lawful firearms owners to carry in my classroom.
All firearms must remain in a holster or case throughout the class. Anyone who removes a firearm from a holster or case (except in the event of a defensive emergency) will be asked to leave and your money will not be refunded.
FAQs
General
Will we be shooting during these classes? No. The classes listed above are non-shooting. We will use inert or, when necessary, unloaded firearms for training purposes. We can schedule a time to visit the range in conjunction with these classes. (See below.)
Do I have to own a firearm to participate? No. It is important for every adult to learn to safely handle a firearm whether or not they choose to own one.
Do I have to attend every session in the CCHDF series or attend them in order? No. These classes are designed to build upon each other, however each one can stand alone. Each one will add to your knowledge and skill set. You will receive a certificate for each class as well as a certificate for completing the entire program.
Registration
Do I have to register online to attend? No. You can email me to let me know that you plan to attend. However, the classes may fill up. Your seat is not reserved until you have paid for the class.
Can I pay with cash or check? Yes! I will gladly accept cash, check, or even barter. The standard cancellation policy (a full refund will be issued to anyone who cancels at least 48 hours in advance) applies no matter which payment method you use.
Will you teach our group? Yes! I will gladly come to your office, home, co-op, or church to teach one or more of these sessions. I can also combine these into one or two longer sessions. Message me for details and to schedule.
Will you go to the range with me? Yes! I will gladly schedule time to go with you to a local range for private instruction with your own or rented firearms. The cost will vary depending upon the range chosen, number of individuals in attendance, and firearms used.
