On Measles

What I shared with a friend when she asked me whether it is worth getting the measles vaccine.

Measles has been in the news lately. The media is declaring that there is an ‘outbreak’ in Texas and that one child has died from this dreaded disease. At least, that is what I hear they are reporting; I really don’t follow the mainstream news anymore. I learned long ago that they twist every story to fit their preferred narrative.

My friends know that I have found some non-mainstream news sources and have spent a bit of time researching natural cures. So I was not totally surprised when I received this text message from a good friend a few weeks ago:

Hey Becky! I’m curious what you know about measles, is it worth getting the vaccine? I’m just wondering if you have some knowledge about it?

Well, yes! I do have some knowledge about it. While I am certainly no expert, I have spent more time studying vaccines than the average doctor or nurse. (But that’s a surprisingly low bar). I was honored and thankful that she asked me.

I suspect that I have a few other friends who are asking similar questions or fielding them from their loved ones. So I have decided to share the exact response I sent to her via text message. The only difference is that I have updated it with hyperlinks and a few typo corrections.

My Response

Here’s what I know:

There is much more I could have shared – like the Simpsonwood Scandal involving the MMR, the US Supreme Court’s admission that vaccines are ‘unavoidably unsafe,’ the toxic adjuvants and excipients in vaccines, or even the statements made by the parents of a child who recently died with measles. I also later recommended that she look up Marcella Piper-Terry. However my response was off the top of my head, via text message, and before the details of the little girl’s tragic death emerged.

You will notice that most of the individuals and organizations I linked are not on mainstream social media sites. Most used to be. However those platforms censored, shadow banned, and often completely deleted due their accounts because of the content they shared. Many have found a home (at least for now) on Substack.

I hope the information linked above provides some reassurance to those who have been scared by the current frenzy. This post may also serve as a quick link I can send to friends in future ‘outbreaks.’

More specifically, I pray that every parent will take the time to research the ingredients in every vaccine and ask themselves whether those ingredients, when injected directly into the body, will bring health to their child. I also pray that God will give each of us the insight we need to nourish ourselves and our children physically, spiritually, and mentally. May we never fear the lies this world screams at us but instead may we trust in the One who created us.
